Directions
We recommend you choose your own route to Helston. This can be done via Truro or Redruth or Camborne. There is not much in it but times of day can make all the difference.
From Helston, follow signs to The Lizard (A3083). The road runs alongside RNAS Culdrose and about a mile on at a mini-roundabout turn left to St Keverne (B3293). Continue along this road, up the hill to another mini-roundabout. Take the 3rd exit staying on the B3293 and continue on this road for about 9 miles until you reach St Keverne. Turn left at the village square, keeping The White Hart Pub on your left, signposted to Porthallow. Continue along the narrow, winding lanes for 2 miles until you come down into Porthallow.
Drive onto the beach, and you cannot fail to see Upper Deck as it’s ‘the only thatch in the village!’

Though we allow dogs, it incurs more cleaning, therefore we ask that dogs do not go on the carpets. If the cleaners tell us that dogs have been there, we will have to add fees for taking dogs, or we will have to say no to dogs (which we obviously do not want to do).
